In a city usually choked by several dominating Clans or Packs, being a clanless, independent vampire is asking for trouble.  But with the clearing of all but the Tenebroso from the city, many independent vampires have re-emerged.  As well, into the power vacuum the dangerous human Vitali family of Italy have carved out a sizeable chunk of land and power.
