Troublemaker was synonymous with Matthias while growing up. It was expected from a child or a young teen but as adulthood dawned on him the realization that he would change wasn't a terrifying thought. But his family was unacceptable in understanding that maybe he resided among the skilled fighters rather than politics. He had never been the diplomatic type to deal with such matters. And being a bit on the hot headed at times really didn't help either.

His calling seemed more than obvious when he came into his powers. But still his family pushed him in the other direction. It never helped when his father stripped him of his powers from time to time as punishments for his wrong doing. Truth be told, that never stopped him. He still continued down his own path.

It was during his early adulthood that he found himself infatuated with some vampire's blood doll. Her striking beauty catching his attention. He had to have her one way or the other. It never seemed to help that she teased and played along with him. It took time but he got her and shortly after he got her he forgot about her. He moved on to better things. A year later he had received a letter from Naomi Crow, the blood doll, and that she had had his daughter.

The news left his family in outrage and had Matthias denying the matter since he received the letter. Though he has yet to even touch the locket of hair since he received it.

Life went on and the incident passed. But even after all the pushing and shoving Matthias still went his own way with his power. One of the few in the Dresden line who had the skills for fighting. He has proven himself worthy of his spot in the coven. Little does he realize that he'll be coming face to face with his past and she may not be what he expects.
