The Vitali mansion contains 11,484 square feet of living space on two above ground floors with an additional 3,396 square feet in the fully finished and furnished basement.  The exterior of the home is multicolored tan bricks with ornate concrete work around the darkly tinted doors and windows.  The home and property surrounding the home take up an entire block in North New Orleans.  The property contains 10 foot high solid stone walls topped with ornate wrought iron spikes and stone statues.

The original three car garage was expanded several years ago to contains a car lift that raises and lowers between the second story and basement of the garage.  The garage now has enough space to hold all of the Vitali automobiles and their multiple limousines and extends a good 150 feet beyond the original garage walls at the rear of the house.  To help the house stay aligned with the property, the Vitali's used the extra wall footage as a architectural starting point for their new Olympic sized swimming pool.

The main level of the house contains a large two story Foyer with a Great Room and Solarium beyond.  To the left of the Foyer resides the dining room, to the right is the massive library.  The first floor also contains a master guest suit, an enclosed sunken porch, Julian's office, Franco's office, a laundry room, hearth room, a breakfast room larger than most formal dining rooms, and a pub.

The second level contains two master bedrooms, one for Julian and one for Franco.  It also contains two other family bedrooms, and a study.  The Vitali's are currently in the process of adding a third level to the home with more bedrooms, sitting rooms and quiet common areas, with future plans to move all of the permanent family bedrooms to the third floor and use the second floor as extra guest rooms and servants rooms.

The basement contains access to the basement level of the garage, a game room, a fully functional bar, wine grotto, billiards room, recreation room, a fully functional home gym with professional equipment, and another private bedroom as
well as a public sitting/ quiet area and another luxury bathroom.  The basement is currently being excavated to accommodate vampiric needs.

Due to the nature of the Vitali family business, the property is always heavily guarded.  The gates are rarely opened and security cameras cover every square inch of the outside and insides of the house except for private family bedrooms.
