Personal History:
Renette was embraced on Vacation in Cabo while at a rave.  Her first morning as a vampire, she stumbled into the sun and scarred herself so badly along her thigh that she always wears pants or leggings no matter the outfit.  As she wasn't stupid, it took her about 21 seconds to figure out what she was, and twice that long to track the man who had turned her.  When she found him in his hotel suite with three tanned blonds, he seemed as surprised as she was.  Newborns vamps weren't generally 'born' with tracking skills like hers.

He praised her, cooed over her burning injury, and took her back to New Orleans to be introduced to the Queen, then tossed her to the Blackguards.  They hunted her across the city, but she ended up confusing them when she started hunting them back, making them the prey and leading them in circles.  Her fun was cut short by Lisette, but she had earned her bones. 

Ren killed her Sire as soon as she was accepted by the Blackguards.  Some suspect they actually helped her.

Despite her new life, she's still that girl who never came home from vacation in sunny Cabo, and she misses the daylight.  She finds herself sucked into the violence of the Blackguards against her will, her body craving it while her minds rebels.  Not that she would ever let something like that slip, especially in her crowd.  Her fascination with the Gevaudan and Outcasts has made her a tolerant, if not sympathetic, voice for them amongst the Blackguards, but she nonetheless participated in ending their reign in New Orleans in the bloody violence of her chosen clique.  To have refused to do so would have put her own head on the chopping block.
