Carolina Tenebroso's crowning glory, the Golden Serpent Nightclub is located on Decatur Street in the French Quarter.
The Golden Serpent begins as a false front of double doors with an ornate and elegant golden serpent, the club's namesake, etched into the door with golden-flecked paint and what some suspect are real emeralds as the eyes. The doors open up into a round courtyard, at the center of which is a small, upraised stage made of dark clay, hardened and glossed over with the trademark golden serpent.

Atop the small stage, five Spanish dancers dressed in blood red dresses and adorned with rubies dance the flamenco. The courtyard itself is blocked off from the outside by tall walls and a procession of never-ending waterfalls that throw shadows and light across the stark white flowers and vibrant green foliage, lush and delicate, that surround the outer courtyard.

The main entrance is straight ahead, beyond the dancers. A set of double doors overlaid in copper with the golden serpent designed burned into the metal, as well as emeralds in place of the eyes. These doors are always open and enter in the main foyer of the club/restaurant. An elaborate mix of Spanish, French, and Chinese art adorns the walls in the form of silk wall coverings. The foyer opens onto a gleaming hardwood dance area. Off to the left are the dining tables, most with two chairs to a glass table for intimate dining. A couple of booths for larger parties, and further beyond, through a set of frosted glass doors lays the party room for celebrations, meetings, and larger parties.

To the right sits an elegant bar, with a black tabletop, dragon designs carved into the dark wood. A small, discreet band area lies near the back of the club. Just beyond the bar there is a solid oak wood door that remains locked. The only key-holders are Zurie Poirot (NPC) and Carolina Tenebroso. Beyond lies the private offices of the owner.

Decorated in deep emeralds, reds, gold's, with Asian paintings and decor adding a touch of serene grace; the atmosphere is private, exquisite, expensive, and tasteful. Boasting of an impressive wine list, a full bar and private cigar rooms, the Golden Serpent is a place where massive amounts of money and power exchange hands; where Dynasty's are created and destroyed; where discretion is most certainly the key.
