Character History:
At the age of 2 years old, Donald Writt came to reside at Black Rose Castle in Wales under the protective custody of the Grenadier royal family. Effectively, this move made Donald a 'ward of the state'. Who brought him and the circumstances as to 'why' remain a complete mystery to not only Donald, but also the current ruler, Candace Grenadier. Donald IS directly blood related to the Writt family that founded the Believers, which only adds to the mystery as to 'how and why' he would have ended up with the Bardic royal family.

Donald was raised and trained as one of the Bard's family, and though a few years younger than Candace and her Celtic music band members (Spiral Dance); he has long come to be considered their 'little brother'. Donald to this day remains a long standing and trusted friend of the Bardic Princess, Candace. Though only a mere 5 years younger than Candace, Donald regularly refers to the young Welsh leader as 'Aunt or Auntie'...

Donald is purely human with NO mystical abilities. Nevertheless, he is exceptionally astute at reading body language and has a sense of political savvy better suited to someone twice his current age of merely 17. Trained as a warrior in both modern day and medieval weaponry, Donald is certainly no slouch in a fight either.

Level headed, fun loving and slow to truly anger; Donald's future is full of possibilities and potentials. He speaks 5 languages besides English. Those languages being: Latin, Gaelic, Italian, French and Spanish, which he can read and write fluently. As of now, Donald is working on learning Russian and Japanese in his spare time as merely a hobby.

By the age of 6, one bonus of Donald growing up alongside the Bard and her band, became their discovery of his apparent natural talent that Donald has for playing the acoustic guitar. His singing voice has even stopped his Bardic benefactor a few times in her tracks too just listen to him. A few of the band's CDs have Donald recorded on them as well; though for security and safety reasons, Donald's name was changed when listed on the CD covers.

One day, Donald hopes to find out how he came to be in the custody of the Bard's family...and more importantly why.
