Character Name:

Camille Antonescu

Clan:

The Tenebroso Dynasty

Hierarchy Position:
Royal

Personal History:
Camille is just over 1,000 years old, slightly older than the first written mention of Transylvania in 1075 where she was born to tribal leaders. She stayed in the upper echelon of the tribe until she was captured by a rival tribe and then captured again by a small force of vampires overtaking the area.
Her incredible beauty prompted one of those vampires to turn her. At that point, she was in her 30's and considered old for the time. However, she was still incredibly beautiful with long blonde hair, blue eyes and a fit yet slender figure.

Her beauty, sexual prowess and cunning landed her in Bran castle shortly after it was built, and she became a silent figure within the walls, except for her occasional outlandish parties. She was there during the reign of Vlad Tepes and for the subsequent reigns of the Tenebroso Princes. Though, the princes never seemed to last long in Romania. Vlad was killed during a war. The first Prince of Romania disappeared during a battle. Ciprion was presumed killed by Camille after she shoved him out a window. Though, it was determined in 2012 by the Prince of Norway and the Prince of Spain, Kollin Morette, that there was not enough ash to constitute an entire vampire body, and no one saw him fall. This lead the Regent to dismiss all charges against Camille and decree her the new Prince of Romania. Prior to her new role as Prince, she'd been Romania's sole advisor for centuries.

Unfortunately, her role as Prince would come to an explosive end. Less than a month after Camille was crowned, the Regent declared war against Europe. Hand-picked Princes received a prior warning and were given less than 24 hours to depart their countries for New Orleans. Camille heeded the warning and boarded a flight the same night she received the warning. Unfortunately, due to the short notice, she was only able to carry a few thousands dollars in cash and a few trunks. The vast wealth and antiques in Bran castle and Camille's prized cats were left behind.

Once in New Orleans, she was placed in a less than swanky hotel on the Mississippi River in the heart of New Orleans. Because the Tenebroso were broke, spending money was not issued to the former Prince. She should simply be thankful she was alive. Many of her Prince friends did not survive the war.
From what she could tell, the only prince friends she had left were Gebhardt, Kilik, Kollin and the Prince of Norway. Though, she is good friends with Donovan and Darice and frequently models in Darice's fashion shows. Still, her loss was great. Her social circle was gone.

Camille grew increasingly despondent over the lack of funds and lack of friends, especially as her own cash dwindled and she received very few phone calls.
Eventually, she took to robbing the humans that she drained as if she were some common street-vampire and not a vampire of noble blood. It was a status that was far beneath her and only increased her displeasure. There were no more vast parties in the castle, no more debaucherous evenings, and certainly no more sex as most of her partners had been killed. The fun had died.

Several weeks after her arrival in New Orleans, Camille found herself at Le Chat Noir. It was a strange place to be considering it was owned by the very couple that had unseated her, but she was there none-the-less. The ambiance was to her liking and the music soothed her irritation. It was there that she happened upon an unlikely vampire - Marquis, formerly known as Gabriel. Though, Camille had never known him as the former.

Camille knew Marquis from Romania - specifically from the time he had kidnapped her for ransom. Their relationship was sordid and spanned centuries. He'd entered her life only to leave it a night, a week, a month later, but no matter how he entered, he always made a notable entrance, usually by throwing out whomever was in Camille's bed that night or by stealing her away for one of his adventures.

This time the meeting was far less hostile and far less adventurous. He had his childer with him, neither of which Camille knew. She only knew Marquis and only thought to greet him. After a brief discussion, Marquis, once again, took her with him, except this time it was to a hotel in New Orleans. He was there on business, both personal and professional.
The professional business, she only learned during an introduction meeting with the Queen, and it did not go smoothly. Camille was forced to walk a thin line between her clan and the man that was now paying her way in New Orleans.

In return for the hassle, Marquis agreed to move them into a historic home within the city and to pay for and host one of Camille's famous orgies. We can only expect that Camille will move right into her old roles of hosting anything-goes, all-accepting parties and raising rare cats.

Camille still walks a line between the Tenebroso and the Independents, but if she has her way, they will become one in the same, and she'll be consort to a King!

Of Irish descent, Braylen was embraced in 1804 by Vasille. He was the seventh son of a farmer but to this day, none would ever know it. The man comports himself to one day be King, and he has the power to pull it off. He sought to exemplify himself from his brothers early in his Immortality by taking on the hunters who call themselves Believers. His name is whispered in stories for he has killed dozenss of their numbers, their best and brightest, their most powerful, swallowing their blood as trophy. When they no longer became a challenge, he turned to demonic kind and cut a swathe through Europe, meeting any challenger. He remains undefeated to this day.

Bold is an inadequate word to describe him, but it is exactly what he is. Bold, challenging, confident, and craving. Passionately obsessive and dangerously jealous, Braylen craves power and will use anyone he sees fit to attain it. He craves love and will go through any to achieve it.

A charismatic face and changeable eyes, as well as a fluid personality make him a hard man to pin down, a fact that he uses to his advantage. His true face only comes to the forefront once he has fixated on someone, something, some goal, and then there is little doubt as to his fervent determination.
